About

Astrid Weber is co-leading the UX team for Google's Mobile Assistant in EMEA and the US. Together with her team Astrid designs and informs the product development process with user insights from early idea generation to implementation. Astrid's research focus is on tech development for ambient computing with a specialization on AI powered assistance and voice UI. She partners with Google.org on tech development projects for underrepresented communities including refugees and people with disabilities. Astrid is an active member of the HCI community and has been serving as conference chair for CHI, ubicomp and CSCW.
